Who I Am

A career built on
understanding people.

Throughout my 30+ year career at Auto Trader, AO.com and Booking.com, I have been able to acknowledge and understand both my strengths and weaknesses.

I've had success — leading teams of 65 across two countries as Director of Data Science, Analytics & Machine Learning at Booking.com. I've delivered results that moved businesses forward. And I've done it as a lifelong introvert, having to find a voice that was authentically mine in a world of extroverts.

But I've also had significant setbacks. I've been made redundant. I've lost my job. I've worked through situations that tested every part of my resilience. I've learned just as much about myself through those experiences as from the successes — perhaps more.

Now, I bring that lived experience to coaching. I'm not here to tell you who to be. I'm here to help you understand who you already are — and to help you use that more effectively.

I am due to qualify as an ICF-certified Executive Coach in June 2026, through Optimus Coaching Academy.

This single word is at the heart of everything I do as a coach. Real growth starts with acknowledgement — of your strengths, your development areas, your fears, your potential.

Before you can change anything, you have to be willing to see it clearly. That takes courage. And it works best with someone you trust sitting alongside you.

My coaching approach

I work in a way that is pragmatic, empathetic and outcome-focused. I draw on executive experience and ICF-accredited coaching principles — not just theory, but practice hard-won across 30 years in fast-paced organisations.

I'm not interested in pretending corporate life is simpler than it is. I understand the politics, the competing priorities, the difficult stakeholders, the weight of responsibility that comes with leadership. I've lived it.

My role is to be a thinking partner — a safe, challenging, honest space where you can explore what's really going on and develop strategies that work for you.
